Last night I went to see the Da Vinci code. Gareth, James, Ian, Helen, Sarah and I all headed down to Odeon for their 00:01 showing. The cinema was not as packed as I expected, however that could be because it is middle of the exam period. When we went to see Star Wars this time last year, they had two screens fully booked, but this time they only opened the second screen so some people could get a better view.

Despite all the media critics dismissing the film as poor I thought it was well worth a watch. It was certainly not as bad as the critics made out. It’s not exactly a film I would make an effort to go see more than once as most of the entertainment value comes from trying to work out what is going to happen next, but even so, I thought it was a good film.
Rating wise I think I’ll give it 4 stars ****-

Anyway, time to get ready for my night out in Swansea.  I’m meeting up with a friend I haven’t seen for a very long time (Clare)
